Garbage Can

Garbage must be placed in the trash receptacle inside the home.

Please separate recyclables (cans + plastic + glass in one, cardboard in another) from general garbage and place them in the designated RECYCLING pail/area (blue canister) located in the garbage closet directly outside the entry door. During COVID awareness, please TIE the larger garbage bags completely (both recycling and garbage) to ensure our refuse workers can safely pick it up and ensure they are kept in the closed garbage closet.

Ensure the refuse closet is FULLY closed and the door knob is engaged to prevent bear intrusion.

Garbage Pickup

Right on our entry deck you'll find the garbage closet (to the right of the door as you enter).

Garbage & recycling pick-ups are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings in summer months and Mondays in the off-season.

Cardboard boxes must be flattened, assembled in bundles and placed next to the recycling bin in the trash shed.

Please TIE the larger garbage bags completely (both recycling and garbage) to ensure our refuse workers can safely pick it up. They will leave them if the black bags are not properly tied. Please keep the cans and all trash inside the closed garbage closet to prevent any critters from trying to get into the garbage.
